My battery cutout due to over voltage last weekend while we were away, got a CODE-194 and the battery turned itself off.
I turned the inverter and battery off then on again and its working fine again but I'm a bit concerned that an over-voltage could be triggered.
These are the firmware versions of the KH9 inverter and EP11 battery
Is this a known issue, any ideas on what to do?
Cheers
Your battery firmware is up to date, the inverter slightly behind so worth updating.
The battery voltage is within range so this is more likely a cell balance problem which sometimes occurs on newer installs particularly if they haven’t had many full discharge/charge cycles (from grid) - best to do a full discharge and charge cycle from grid (a couple of times over the next few weeks), most of the balancing is done as it passes 95% to 100% but some bottom balancing also takes place so make sure your minSoC is set to 10% and that will allow the pack to learn it’s limits.

Hi,
Thanks for the info.
The system was installed in may and it has done many full charge discharge from grid.
It's charging every night from grid between 12:30 and 5:30 and untill a few weeks ago was doing a force discharge to grid every evening as well.
How do I go about updating the inverter, should I ask my installer or can I request directly with fox ess?
Cheers

You should start with your installer as they can update it remotely for you, Fox will assist of they don’t respond (you can raise a service request in the V2 app via ‘Me’ Contact Us, Support)
