Re: web stats down ?
The API is down still and has been all day, so Energy Stats isn't working. In fact, for the last week or so, it pretty much dies at about 9am in the morning and doesn't come back until after dark apart from very intermittantly.

Yes, it seems so. I'm on for a record generation day today so it's only right it would go off.

Re: Temperature of system housed in loft
It's also worth noting that "bat Temperature" is actually the BMS temperature. The v2.0 app seems to show the actual battery cell temperatures which are often much lower and will give a better indication where you might be with charging rates in winter. I have my batteries in the loft and had no ...

Re: HV25 State of Health (SOH)
Hopefully the initial degradation steadies off as you mention, otherwise I'll be hitting 80% SOH in about 5-6 years and 1400 cycles! I wonder where we'd be warranty-wise if that did happen? The figure seems to be relatively accurate at least. As a year ago I could get about 10.5kWh from or into the ...

Re: Foxcloud vs foxcloud2.0 today yield
Assuming the Fox v2.0 app is the latest version, that figure is the "true" PV generation alone, whereas the original app shows the inverter yield including what has come from the batteries.

HV25 State of Health (SOH)
What sort of State of Health values are other HV25 users seeing on their batteries after having them a while? I've had mine around 15 months now and have done 280 cycles in that time. However the SOH as reported in the Fox App says it is now only 96%? This seems quite low and is a bit worrying as ...

Re: App 2 - Logs GMT/BST log date confusion
This caught me out on Sunday as I had my inverter set to charge the batteries at the cheap rate from 4am until 5am. I picked this time so it was away from the clock change but for some reason it charged from 5am until 6am instead, possibly due to the reason you highlight. Everything was normal the ...

Re: Mode Scheduler help
Does it stick if you set it on the website?
In the past there were sometimes issues when you set charge times / schedules via app rather than on the cloud. Might be worth a try.

Re: H3 10 und T8 WR komische Werte in der App
This is a known issue when using two inverters. I have a thread running on it here:

We're trying to get Fox to fix the issue, but it's proving problematic.

Re: Negative Consumption
The CT clamp cables are usually 5m long but they can be extended. You can do it with a twisted pair cable (e.g one pair of wires in a CAT5 cable) I believe. I'd use shielded if its going outside. Here's a link to the CT clamp: https://www.tradesparky.com/solarsparky/accessories/miscellaneous/fox-fe ...

Re: Negative Consumption
You would need a CT clamp from the F3000 to the H1 to show this correctly. The H1 would then recognise the power generated by the F3000 and be able to charge the battery with it aswell.

You need the Energy Stats or Fox v2.0 app to show this I'm afraid. The original Fox app does not.

Re: Dual Inverters
After sending me three versions of the schematic, none of which actually matched what they had installed, they finally admitted that the two H1-5 hybrid inverters could not work in parallel, and they are swapping them out for an KH10. This reduces the maximum number of batteries I can attach, but ...

The API is down again now too
Funnily enough I raised a ticket on Friday to get my batteries and BMS onto the latest firmware (HV25s still on 1.004 master and 1.00 (x4) and 1.01 (x1) slave) and I'm still waiting on a response to that too.

Both the Fox v1 and v2 apps are fine and working pretty quickly.

Re: Dual Inverters
I created a second site using the serial number of the second dongle, and as expected all it could see was its PV and Inverter. I then deleted this new site. I then found that the original site now had a choice of either inverter, but not both at the same time. I'm not sure if that counts as ...

Re: FoxCloud v2 observations
I’m not sure if it’s related to the API update a few weeks ago but I’m finding that both the Fox v2 app and the Energy Stats app are a little clunky in the connection now. I.e. the data doesn’t always refresh after five mins.. sort of have to go in and out of the apps to refresh it and even then som ...

Re: Strange SOC charging pattern for EC4100 V2
My batteries are charging OK but I have recently had the same issue of the minimum SOC dropping to 6-7% overnight despite being set at 10%. Should I be concerned? In case it's relevant the batteries are insulated so temperature is normally 22-25 degrees overnight. 3 x Mira HV25. firmware version.1 ...
