Re: Inverter handling on unbalanced tri phase load

cdsgames wrote: Tue Jan 28, 2025 8:38 am Yes the H3 pro can do it...I was asking about the non pro inverter 12Kwh
That's what I said
The Fox 'H3' inverter is also able to be configured to work with unbalanced loads, see attached operational description from the 'H3' manual.

Re: Drawing from the grid

Yes I don't blame you, best leave it to them.

You should never see a negative load, the load is calculated by ... you guessed it... 'the CT clamp' , and so if it is fitted the wrong way round you will get a negative house load.

Re: Error code 44099

It sounds as if the wifi signal at your inverter is not strong enough.

When you change the charge periods or use the scheduler, the app or website will write directly to the inverter to set the times, and if there is a problem with the signal strength or quality it may not be able to write the ...

Re: Inverter handling on unbalanced tri phase load

The Fox H3 inverter is also able to be configured to work with unbalanced loads, see attached operational description from the H3 manual.

The maximum power it can output per phase is 1/3 of the inverters total output power i.e. an H3-15 inverter can output a maximum of 5 kW on each of it’s phases.

Re: Drawing from the grid

Ok, if the system is still dumping the battery to grid when the solar starts generating, then although the CT clamp is fitted with the arrow pointing in the right direction it must have had it’s wires crossed in the inverters CT connector which case you will need to unclip it and turn it round ...

Yes it should (as long as they got the polarity correct when they wired the connector) - what I can say for sure is that it should be pointed in the opposite direction to the one it is at the moment.

Re: Drawing from the grid

ok the Tigo TS4 is an optimiser so they have fitted one to each panel, their job is to remove the panel from the circuit if they are shaded and they will help to manage the balance between the 2 arrays.

Your PV1 power traces don't look too bad (for this time of year) so best to monitor the ...

Re: Drawing from the grid

Rather than looking at PV voltage, go to the website and look at PV1Power - that will show you the power generated by the string across the day, can you post some traces of that as it will show any throttling effects if they are serious.

Micro-inverters would convert each panel at source into it's ...

Re: Drawing from the grid

They've been connected as 10 panels in series i.e. a typical 400 watt panel would be running at around 32Vmp and so 10 panels in series = 320V which is what you are seeing, PV2 would appear to be floating and is picking up induced voltage - it's likely not connected to anything.

As it is a H1-3.7 ...

Re: Drawing from the grid

Hello, looking at your traces and from what you have described the inverters CT clamp has been fitted incorrectly and is facing the wrong direction.

The CT clamp tells the inverter how much power is being drawn from the grid or exported to the grid and if fitted incorrectly the moment the sun comes ...

Re: App and website both say my system is offline

Has anything changed in your house, broadband, new router ?

It sounds like the datalogger has lost it’s wifi connection - the datalogger is plugged into the bottom of your inverter and should be flashing red slowly - if it is rapid and you haven’t changed anything to do with your broadband then ...

Re: Myenergi Zappi automation to protect hybrid battery during Eco Tariff

I've not used the timer.start etc.. function - my reading of the timer is that it will start the timer fd_timerone and that should start timerone counting down with the duration you've just set.

So looking at your automation when the time is fd_setlowtariffstart

- you would expect to get a ...

Re: Myenergi Zappi automation to protect hybrid battery during Eco Tariff

I'll be honest i've never used the time start action, but just looking through the notes, it shows it as taking either a duration in seconds or a timedate helper.

I've tried to create a timer and then add the hours: key and it gets very confused..

Which suggests the action code should ...

Hi Dave,

Which adapter are you using ?

As a general rule you won’t be able to configure the modbus intergation until you have the inverter connected, but you should be able to configure the device (but some adapters are more fussy than others)

Re: Getting to Grips with New System

If you don’t have EPS fitted (emergency power supply) then you would be best setting both your minSoC and Battery reserve to 10% - The EP5 batteries are rated at 90% depth of discharge and as you’ve paid for it, you really should use it, you won’t affect their warranty.

If the system is new, the 2 ...

Yes agree 72% is low but over 1 day your results really won’t be accurate and with low generation and consumption your system losses appear larger - it is best to view these stats on a monthly basis. The winter months of December and January are always the worst because of the suns low elevation.

I ...

Re: newbie looking to expand battery capacity

Hi Steve,

If your HV2600 batteries are 2 years old it is very likely they are V1 batteries - you would normally expect to see a white sticker on the front saying Ver:C or Ver:D

If they are V1 batteries they are rare as hens teeth to find them (you might find them on eBay), but there is a V2 HV2600 ...

Re: Data in APP makes no sense (no it is not EFFICIENCY)

Your solar Production was 4.1 kWh (A)
You Exported 1.4 kWh (B)
So your Self-Consumption is (A-B) = 2.7 kWh (C)
Your Self-Consumption ration is (C / A) = 66%

Your consumption was 5.3 kWh (D)
You Purchased 5.2 kWh from grid (E)
Your Self-sufficiency is (D-E)=.1 kWh (F)
Your % self-sufficiency is the ...

Re: Stop battery discharging using mode scheduler

The only slot that would charge the battery is the first one, and it wouldn’t turn on because you can’t have an overlap with another time slot (it has an overlap with the second).

To delete a slot, swipe it left and choose delete
