Would it be "wrong" to pour some of that knowledge in here?

Re: New system in Surrey
Hi, looking good!
Could you give us some more details on your transfer switch? Some pictures, a schematic maybe?

Hey, just to add all the info possible in here.
Did you remember to take note or a picture of the part number of the connector you received?

Re: EPS: "Level 4.5" - Whole House Automatic (AIO)
I might have found a solution.
The HS1 series from Heschen appears to support interlocking.
Then it's just matter of finding your preferred combination.

One last precisation:
Timing of the operation of the island mode isolator and N-E bond relay should comply with Regulations 431.3 and 537.1.5 of BS 7671. This requires:
The N-E bond relay to be interlocked, or mechanically linked , with the island mode isolator , [...]
This means that the ...

Amazing info, thanks!
I think my system can be adapted in the way you're suggesting and be approximated by something like this new diagram (main differences highlighted in red):

You can't appreciate how thankful I am for your answer.
I just spent some time looking into what you just explained and I have so many questions now 😂
- Why shouldn't I permanently connect the EPS Neutral to ground at all times?
- Because of my permanent Earth Rod, have I become a secondary ...

EPS: "Level 4.5" - Whole House Automatic (AIO)
Hi, I was tinkering and I put together a wiring diagram of what I would like to deploy in my house. Please, qualified electricians, tell me what I'm doing wrong :D I would really love to constructively find a solution to this all-in-one concept because I've got space for a 20-way CU but not enough ...

Re: What is EPS and what are the various methods/settings?
Hello everyone!
This morning I decided I was going to simulate a power cut to test out the automatic switch over of my EPS system, and I'm glad to say it worked great.
I wanted to leave it do its things for a few hours to explore this "EPS Mode" a little before turning the grid on again, but then ...

Re: Adding new batteries
Power everything down (solar DC, AC, batteries) then isolate the batteries. (See video on this group for how to do all this).
I then disconnected the earth and power from the BMS to the top battery, added the new bracket, and refitted the BMS. Then insert new battery and connect earths and power ...
