Re: Battery Charge Schedule Removed Overnight
grrrr what I have just noticed today though, that hasn't happened in a very long time, the SoC just jumped from 66% to 98% in around 10 minutes. I had this long standing issue with this happening a lot, ended up being a faulty lead between 2 batteries! Frustrating to see this occur again and hope it ...

Re: Battery Charge Schedule Removed Overnight
Glad I see others with similar issues, I would have been most happy with a full charge as cloudy almost all day here in mid Cornwall, luckily managed to have a low power use day so far, but about to be tea time!

Battery Charge Schedule Removed Overnight
Last night, my batteries started charging on schedule (01:30-04:40) then stopped after about an hour, and the charge schedules are gone, all set to 00:00. The car was charging too so that then flattened the battery! Never seen this before, any thoughts? Makes me really want to pull the wifi data ...

Re: Latest app
Had no luck setting battery charge in the app the last week or so, the web site is erroring a lot, but sometimes working, but today, not at all, used the 'Energy Stats' app and although erroring and appearing to fail, it has just changed the times, so something at least. The overall unreliability of ...

Re: Firmware Upgrade Experience H1-6.0-E
I thought I'd read that it was possible to set charge periods via RS485 so this will be great, as it is about the only reason I have to use the 'cloud' now.
I ran out of time to progress the RS485 to Ethernet adapter today however.

Firmware Upgrade Experience H1-6.0-E
Thought I'd share my experience of doing a firmware upgrade this evening, also, see if anyone has any feedback, suggestions. I wanted the ability to force export during the Octopus Saving Sessions, I also wanted control of doing the upgrade (and downgrade if needed) so I purchased a new wifi ...

Re: Temperature of system housed in loft
Whilst I can't recall the difference between Inv and Ambient temps, I do know that I saw them getting very high last summer (above 60) so I installed a bank of 4 small USB power fans across the bottom of the cooling fins, and now I never go above 45. I also installed a heat sink on the top of the ...

Re: Immersion heater controller
Just to add to this, I bought one of these diverter devices when I first got solar and when the price of gas was still low, so when factored against export payments I could get, it was a hard sell. I ended up with a low cost one (Solar Immersion) mainly as the thought of just not burning gas ...

Re: Lost option for Force Charge
Thank you for that, sorry, I don't go anywhere near Facebook I shall have a play this evening. Seems an odd UI change, although, the terminology before wasn't great either.

Lost option for Force Charge
I noticed last week the option to select a force charge (as in not use the battery) disappeared from the WebGUI, and now I note it has gone from the mobile app too. Anyone else seeing, or know why? I would use this if I thought I didnt quite have enough to get through the night, so I'd use grid ...

WebGUI Changes
Since the recent outage / date restore, I have noticed in the WebApp GUI, the ability to set the work mode by clicking on a new Inverter Icon. I’m not aware this has been possible before from the web. Good addition, although working on getting it locally accessible too. Interested in the Peak S ...

Re: Sizing a Hybrid Installation
Hello Just wanted to pickup on a small item of detail on this, regarding inverter size, batteries and house load. I have a Fox Hybrid inverter and I can still get the AC rating out of the inverter and charge the batteries if the PV generation is greater than the inverter AC rating. i.e. I have a 7 ...
