Re: 2 Day Post Install Question
Anyway, thank you again for your help and loving the system, running very well, just waiting for Octopus to sort the export tariff out and then I might be paid for the 268kWh I've exported already in 4 days to the grid :-(
Just a note on this - you are unlikely to get paid for anything exported ...

Re: Grid Pressure/Push back Setting added to the K and H1-gen2
Just an update - after the installer engineer by email told me it wasn't their job to update firmware, I called the installers customer service phone line. Person on there said the engineer shouldn't have told me that, they must not know that it's their job to do aftercare, but that she could just ...

Re: Grid Pressure/Push back Setting added to the K and H1-gen2
Installer came back instantly, telling me it's not their job and I have to call Fox. You've got to laugh at their continued insistence they have no responsibility for any part of the process!
Anyone had any luck going to Fox through the app to get this done? If I raise a ticket have I got any chance?

Re: Grid Pressure/Push back Setting added to the K and H1-gen2
Thanks WyndStryke - that seems very clear, will try the installer with that. My in-home display generally shows about 15-20w coming from grid as a background when not exporting, and correctly switches to showing the export symbol and amount whenever exporting, so hopefully it should be obvious when ...

Re: Grid Pressure/Push back Setting added to the K and H1-gen2
Hi everyone,
I have the H1 gen 2 inverter and would love to eliminate the constant draw from grid, which the Fox app suggests fluctuates between 5w and 25w. I've watched the video and don't have the same options in the desktop Fox setup, so I don't have installer access.
Could someone give me an ...

Re: App update: all data streams dead
I had the same happen at about the same time - not aware of an update and I'm on Android. I think the app just went down, it seems to have come back in the last 10 min or so. Home screen is working and the graphs show the system has been working as expected during the app downtime.
The problem now ...

Home insurance
Just wondered what anyone has done in terms of insuring their solar/battery setups under home insurance? Obviously a battery is an expensive item and if it's in an outbuilding, or outside, there are risks involved. Plus insurers regularly make you register individual high price items like jewellery ...

Re: FoxCloud 2 App Issue
*Edited to say I've just seen the full thread on this
*
I reckon it's a Fox app issue, my system went offline at exactly the same time. I've checked the inverter and it's still working. I'm new to this so don't know how these things get resolved. Hopefully it'll be back on in the morning?

Re: Outdoor battery - general help
Thanks Dave - great help. Overnight last night, the ambient temp got down to 0C, but the battery (possibly as it still had plenty of charge) only got down to about 3C, and continued discharging all night and this morning despite the cold. Although interestingly the discharge current has fallen from ...

Re: Outdoor battery - general help
Thanks for the quick reply Dave, and no problem, ask away! I should say, I'm happy with the setup generally - I'm generating lots of solar, I'm quite a low user of electricity currently, and my daily usage bill is already significantly lower, so I'm aware that anything I generate and store is better ...

Hi everyone,
