I have just raised this:
There are two issues with the app now
1) Firstly as I have raised below previously. The downloaded logs continue to download in the following form:
2024-03-31 00:55
to
2024-03-31 02:00
2024-10-27 01:57
to

They should either download as GMT permanently, or ...

Grid Down detection, how? Small grid imports
I am seeking to understand two items, one for my own benefit, the other to try and understand a friends issue with a different Inverter make
1) How does the Inverter detect grid down issues?
I previously guessed the Inverter may monitor the rising edge before comitting to provide current, but there ...

Re: How Does the App Work?
Hi
I have just noticed a link to a user guie on the app 2 itself...
https://www.foxesscloud.com/video/quickguide/app/v2/guide.mp4
However regarding the 'Total Revenue' figure. I assume it is based on the 'Unit' Income' entered when building the 'Plant' - which an installer woud do
So a User who ...

Re: App 2 - Logs GMT/BST log date confusion
Thanks Guys
I think you have confirmed that it is not me
It seems that Fox have converted to a log time, by doubling the Summer Time change
So whereas the two logs should be 5 minutes apart, the following indicates -55mins
2024-03-31 00:55:34 GMT+0000

App 2 - Logs GMT/BST log date confusion
Hi,
The script I have written to analyse the downloaded logs bombed out, whereas it had not before (I download the logs a month at a time)
After investigation I found that the DATE TIME in the logs changes as follws:
2024-03-31 00:55:34 GMT+0000
2024-03-31 02:00:34 BST+0100

Re: FoxESS cloud status Energy Stats, Home Assistant Cloud
Yet again thanks Dave... a mine of information :ugeek:
I think you have given me a few hours (days?) of follow up work. But all good
That is apart from the removed support for local LAN access, which is very disappointing, as that would have been easiest for me
Anyhow, something to think about in ...

Re: FoxESS cloud status Energy Stats, Home Assistant Cloud
Thanks again Dave
You refer to some documentation which describes the parameters, is this the 'Open API' webpage
I have copied this to a local word doc, but didn't originally find anything useful for me at this point
However looking again, I don't see any precision definitions?
Is there another ...

Hi Dave,
Thanks for your reply

Re: FoxESS cloud status Energy Stats, Home Assistant Cloud
David,
That is well confusing then about the data
I use the FoxESS Cloud app version 2
Step 1) Go to the inverter page, click on the serial number, when a data window opens
Step 2) I click on the 'SN' field and the serial number is copied, then I close the data window
Step 3) I click on the 'me ...

PS
Another question
The 'loads' parameter, appears to be a number that is cumulatinve, however shortly after the initial data it started having 'E8' at the end of the number
Starts as : 0
A time later goes to : 0.9
The next entry is: 3.201761325E8
Following data appears to increase
What is this ...

I am not sure if this is the best place to start talking about the data that can be downloaded vis the Fox version 2 app or not. So please suggest if we need a new topic thread to seperate just the discussion on the stats

Many thanks for that.
Apologies for the delayed reply, but I had assumed I would get an email if there was an update on my post - Just seen the tick box (doh!)
I have downloaded 'all' of both types of data that is available to me, I will have a look
I have yet to look at the 'energy stats' app
Many thanks for that.
