Re: Temperature question
I did wonder if there was something in the house drawing that power but I can't for the life of me work out what would be drawing 700 watts. Is there any way the app data download can tell me if it's the BMS doing it?

Re: Temperature question
Hi and thanks. The lowest cell temp I am taking from the v2 app itself and also the data download from the app - 'CellTemperatureLow/C'. The BMS/'battery' temps and SOC were good as shown. 'Battery reserve capacity' is set at 15% and System Min SOC at 10%.

Temperature question
Screenshot 2024-03-04 132521.jpg What is the lowest battery temp the BMS will tolerate before it gives a maintenance charge? From midnight to 7am today my lowest cell temp went from 17.6 to 15.8 with the BMS kicking in frequently as shown. At 1pm the temp is 16.3 but the BMS seems happy now ...

Battery temp discrepancy
The 2.0 app shows battery temp and initially this seemed to match the temp shown on the cloud. For the last week or so though the app shows much lower temps i.e. 12.9 now with 24 shown on the cloud. The battery is in an insulated enclosure and a thermometer inside on top of the stack currently shows ...

Re: Still using grid despite charge in battery!
Thanks but the temperature in the garage yesterday was about 10 degrees so I don't think that was the issue. However when it was cold I saw another odd thing (see pic from 19th) with frequent bursts of c. 600w and I can't isolate where this draw was coming from - there is nothing in the property ...

Re: Still using grid despite charge in battery!
Thanks, I'll try a lower min SOC setting (not sure why it was set at 20% to start with). However the issue seems to be intermittent and I've seen the same thing happening at 28% charge and even 50%.
Not sure I know how to update the firmware or is this something the installer should/could do?

Still using grid despite charge in battery!
Hi, reposting about this issue which has been read 499 times but without any answers! Currently have 22% battery (minSOC set at 20%) and the grid is supplying the entire house load of c. 400w. I've watched my smart meter and this is not just a brief burst of grid power as the battery ramps up. Any ...

Battery/ambient temp readings
Hi. As attached (from yesterday) I'm seeing battery and ambient temp readings that seem way too high - batteries are in an unheated garage and currently I've got a thermometer showing 11.2 degrees ambient but Fox saying 27 degrees. I may live in Cornwall but we have not escaped the cold snap! Many ...

Using Grid despite charged battery
Hello I have a new install (Dec 23). On a couple of occasions now I have seen a draw from the grid despite plenty of charge in the battery and the overall draw not exceeding the inverter limit. Currently the battery is showing 50% charge (min SOC was set at 20% by the installer) and the domestic ...
