I've been waiting for a response since november from their support; this week we have the Genera Expo in Madrid and Fox is there, so I went to ask them directly.

Attached is their official solution for this. Basically a NC contactor energized from the grid side.

I found this diagram in a GoodWe manual (which is suspiciosly similar to Foxess, but better done) where the "how" is more clear. There needs to be a internal relay that bonds EPS N with EPS E when it's running in island/EPS mode.

Where is this relay in FoxESS EPS system???

When using method 1, do we need to add a N-E bonding?
Just testing with a multimeter I can see a PD of ~120V between L-E and ~80V between N-E.

When grid is connected I see the expected 230V between L-E and 0V between N-E.


Did you ever resolve this? I am getting the same issue, I have a N ...
