Re: Added 2 additional HV2600 batteries - BMS now all over the place
With the temps being lower this time of year it can take 10-20 cycles to balance everything. Reading what you did everything is correct so just monitor it over the next week or two. I'm sure things will balance and improve. Thanks Will, I appreciate the reassurance! Current cell low is 14.6C and ...

Added 2 additional HV2600 batteries - BMS now all over the place
Hi all, On 22nd November, I added two additional HV2600 V2 batteries to my stack, taking the total to 7. With the H1-5.0E inverter. I followed the following process: 1. Powered everything off and turned AC and DC isolators to off. 2. Measured existing and new battery voltages. They were within 0.2V ...

Re: HV2600 BMS capacity gone haywire since firmware update
I'm not sure thats correct any more. On newer firmware sensor.bmw_kwh_remaining shows the capacity and not the remaining. See https://github.com/nathanmarlor/foxess_modbus/issues/651 for more info. Oh, interesting! That's the issue with making such a big jump in firmware, easier to lose track of ...

Re: HV2600 BMS capacity gone haywire since firmware update
I'm using the latest version of https://github.com/nathanmarlor/foxess_modbus.
To calculate max capacity I'm just doing:
Code: Select all
sensor.bms_kwh_remaining / sensor.battery_soc * 100

Re: HV2600 BMS capacity gone haywire since firmware update
The update to Manager 1.74 and Master 1.65 caused all sorts of issues for me. Initially after the update, it said I generated 131kWh of solar that day and had a yield of 0.0kWh, the next two days it then did not count up at all from zero. Fortunately this seems to have now solved itself. I updated ...

HV2600 BMS capacity gone haywire since firmware update
Hi all, On 11th November, the firmware for my H1-5.0 inverter and BMS/batteries was updated. Since then, the battery capacity estimation from the BMS has been all over the place. I have 5x HV2600 V2 batteries and prior to the upgrade, my estimated max capacity was ~10.25 kWh. As seen from this graph ...

Potentially inaccurate CT clamp readings
Hi all, I've noticed recently that the grid CT clamp reading for the for my FoxESS H1-5.0-E inverter differ from other sources. For example, on Friday these were the reported grid import numbers: FoxESS Inverter: 13.4 kWh Electricity Meter: 14.52 kWh myenergi Harvi: 15.48 kWh Now, it's hard to ...

HV2600 missing capacity - help me understand
Hi all, I've had 5x FoxESS HV2600 v2 batteries for a while now, and it seems the actual total capacity isn't quite right. Here are my numbers of what I think the total capacity should be: - Advertised Capacity: 12.8 kWh - SoH: 95% - Total Capacity: 12.16 kWh However, in reality, my total capacity is ...
