Just to update-

The firmware of my two batteries were 'out of step'...... and are now operating in tandem.

Thanks, I do have the manual and the dip switches appear to correctly set. It is the battery status lights that are confusing me, namely, does the master battery indicate for both or does each battery indicate its own status? The manual does not address this scenario. If it is the former- all good.....
